Let me upload my own font files (.otf /.woff2)

The local system-font support is really great and I use it daily, but I'm stuck on the one piece it doesn't cover: my client's brand typeface isn't a system font. Their guidelines mandate a licensed face, which we license properly, it's just not Arial or Georgia, and the only way I can get it into a layout today is to install it on this machine and hope the picker finds it.

What I want is to upload the actual .otf or .woff2 into the editor so it travels with the document and embeds in the PDF the same way the built-in fonts do. Right now I'm limited to whatever's installed on whatever computer I happen to be on, which breaks the moment I move to my laptop.

Honest status: shipping the local/system fonts (selectable plus embedded in the PDF) was step one toward exactly this, so the embedding plumbing already exists. Letting you upload your own font file is on the roadmap. The thing that makes it slower than it looks is licensing, we have to be careful not to become a place where unlicensed fonts get re-distributed, so an upload flow needs to respect the embedding permissions in the font's own metadata. Not a no, just not a this-month. Knowing you license yours properly is useful signal.

Yes please. I'm on Free and the system fonts cover a lot, but every brand client I take on has a custom face and I end up setting the type in another tool and importing it as an image. Uploading a woff2 would let me actually finish a job in here.
